Executive Chef Position

Originally built in 1874 and re-opened in 2003, the hotel now hosts conferences, meetings, and events in which the guests appreciate and enjoy 10,000 sq. feet of flexible space, two-full service restaurants and bars, a seasonal pool bar, an annual Winter Wine Festival in February and a full service Hotel Spa with indoor and outdoor pools.

Preffered Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Executive Chef in a hotel setting with multiple outlets and banquet functions.
  • Culinary Education preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Food safety certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, passion and energy.
  • Proven track record in leading and developing a strong culinary team and developing successful working relationshipswith peers and other associates.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills – clear and concise. Computer skills  including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Proven business acumen.
  • Creative and innovative culinary skills. Ability to develop seasonal menus highlighting local ingredients to create updated New England cuisine.
  • Organized with good time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and good follow-through.
  • Team-oriented. Positive attitude. Outgoing personality.
  • Strong work ethic. Self-motivated. Goaloriented.
  • Able to multi-task and work well under pressure. Be a problem-solver. Be flexible and adaptable to changing environment.
  • Demonstrated stability in work history.
