Dear ACF Casco Bay Members,

Over the past several months the board has reviewed the National ACF dues structure for 2012, its impact on our members and has determined that the cost per member has become a burden on many of our members. We are all in agreement that the dues were never designed to support the association and more important the support of the members is what is needed to grow this chapter.

We are pleased to announce a plan for a 50% reduction in dues for our entire professional, junior and student categories. This will be available to members in these categories as well as any new members joining these categories. This is a one time reimbursement for the September 2011-June of 2012 meeting year.

To qualify for the reimbursement you must be joining as a professional culinarian, culinarian, student culinarian, junior culinarian or a senior professional culinarian.

  1. Attend a regularly scheduled meeting.
  2. Pay your dues to National and bring in your paid invoice and you will be reimbursed for half of your dues.
  3. Anyone who has paid their dues already and attends a meeting will be reimbursed.
Once you have received your reimbursement we have also created a program which will allow you to reduce you dues by 50% for the following year. This will be accomplished by accruing association activity points thru chapter involvement.
For the September 2010-June 2011 meeting year the following points/activities schedule has been approved. The subsidy will be reviewed each year by the finance committee and will be based upon their recommendation and approval by the board.
